What is it all about ?
Resources and articles about getting started into crypto are easier to find every day, but I feel this is not always practical, and you always have to find infos here and there like an article about the wallet, an article about DeFi, about CEX etc...
So I felt it was time for me to give a shot at gathering my knowledge somewhere. I wanted to make something about my crypto journey, and I thought: “while I’m there I should talk about some basics the way I would have wanted to know in the first place”. So here it is.

Where are we going ?
Today, we’re going on Solana. This is an arbitrary choice, that I’m making for a few reasons:
- Solana is cheap. Due to the nature of this blockchain, transaction fees are affordable for anyone, since they’re negligible.
- Solana is fast. Although the ecosystem encountered some major outages these last months, it’s still way faster that the other blockchains as for the number of Transactions Per Second (TPS).
- Solana has potential. It is still very new, and since this is a blockchain that has been mostly financed by venture capitalists (aka not the community), it’s unlikely that it’ll go down totally. It’s on the top 10 blockchains but hasn’t really mooned yet.
- I know Solana. Not an expert but I’ve been doing things in the ecosystem for almost a year now.
Also, Solana has a blooming ecosystem with tons of DeFi products, NFT collections, P2E games etc, but more on that later.
What will I need ?
